THIS IS your Journey
Get Compassionate Lactation Care Tailored for You
I'll be honest, throughout my entire lifetime, my 30+ years as a nurse, even nursing my own two babies, I admit that until I became an internationally, board certified lactation consultant, I was never completely educated about the biological process of lactation. And as a woman, I should have been!! Today’s parents, lacking basic breastfeeding education and few role models, are expected to expertly navigate sleep deprivation, personal feeding choice, breastfeeding problems, sore and damaged nipples, engorgement, mastitis, breast pump selection, sizing, and trouble-shooting, return to work/school pressure, low milk supply worries, optimal bottle and nipple selection, bottle refusal, doom scrolling Dr. Google and Dr. Tik Tok/Instagram for answers, physicians’ lacking advanced lactation education, and a culture that, let’s face it, isn’t very supportive of breast milk solutions! It’s no small wonder that today’s parents feel stressed and overwhelmed. I’m exhausted just typing this paragraph!! If you've read this far, I've got your attention. And I'm here to tell you, I've got your back. We'll start where you are, TODAY, and together, we will tailor a feeding plan that works for you and your baby, no tears. That's my promise.

I can’t say enough good things about Mary Anne. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable, and made me feel completely supported during a time that felt overwhelming. She took time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and never made me feel rushed or judged. Her guidance made such a difference in my breastfeeding and pumping journey and I’m so grateful for her care and encouragement. I would highly recommend her to any new or even experienced parent!

I am extremely grateful to have been able to find and work with Mary Anne! At six months postpartum and returning to work, my milk supply hit a dramatic decline. I was frustrated and deeply wanted to continue nursing and bottle feeding my son breastmilk without having to supplement with my freezer stash or formula. Mary Anne was able to immediately identify errors and improvements in my nursing and pumping regime. She prioritized a home visit in which we reviewed my flange size, different pumping parts, a revised pumping and nursing schedule, and much more! Mary Anne is undoubtedly an expert in her field. Through her kindness, support, and wisdom, I am now pumping at a surplus when away from my son and able to exclusively breastfeed when we are together. With Mary Anne’s consult and continued check-ins, I feel confident in my breastfeeding journey and thoroughly supported!

Mary Anne was an absolute delight during our stay at the hospital. She was so personable and we felt like she truly sought to understand us, our goals, and parenting style. She shared so many helpful tips of what she’d learned through her own parenting journey and medical training. She made our breastfeeding experience start off with a lot more confidence than we would have without her. She was a standout from your already incredible team. We could tell she loves her work and her patients. Please give Mary Anne our heartfelt thanks!

I would confidently recommend Mary Anne to anyone looking for compassionate, skilled lactation support.
